ভারতের (India) দক্ষিণের রাজ্যে কেরলে (Kerala) ক্রমাগত করোনা (COVID 19) সংক্রমণের মাত্রা বাড়ছে। কেরলে এই মুহূর্তে ২৯২ জন করোনায় আক্রান্ত বলে খবর। পাশাপাশি গত একদিনে দক্ষিণের এই রাজ্যে করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়ে ৩ জনের মৃত্যুর খবর পাওয়া গিয়েছে। ফলে বর্তমানে কেরলে করোনায় সক্রিয় আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা ২০৪১। প্রসঙ্গত ওমিক্রনের যে সাব ভ্যারিয়েন্ট JN.1 এর জেরে আতঙ্ক ছড়াচ্ছে, তাকে 'ভ্যারিয়েন্ট অফ ইন্টারেস্ট' বলে বর্ণনা করা হয় বিশ্ব স্বাস্থ্য সংস্থার তরফে। তথ্য বলছে, গত ৯ দিনে ভারতে করোনা সংক্রমণের গতি দ্বিগুন হারে বেড়েছে। যার মধ্যে সবচেয়ে বেশি আক্রন্তের খবর মিলছে কেরল থেকে।
