Assam : সরকারী স্কুলের পড়ুয়াদের জন্য মেডিকেল ও ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিংয়ের ক্ষেত্রে ৫ শতাংশ সংরক্ষণ ঘোষণা অসম সরকারের

সরকারী স্কুলে পড়া ছাত্রছাত্রীদের জন্য এবার সংরক্ষন চালু করল অসম সরকার। নতুন এই সংরক্ষনে এবার থেকে মেডিকেল এবং ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং পড়ার ক্ষেত্রে ৫ শতাংশ সংরক্ষন থাকবে বলে জানিয়েছে অসম সরকার।
সোমবার মন্ত্রীসভার বৈঠকে এমনই সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে।এই সুবিধা পাওয়ার জন্য ছাত্রছাত্রীদের সাত থেকে দ্বাদশ শ্রেণী পর্যন্ত সরকারী স্কুলে পড়তে হবে বলে জানিয়েছে অসম সরকার।
বর্তমানে ইংরেজী মাধ্যম স্কুলের বাড়বাড়ন্তের কারণে সরকারী স্কুলে ছাত্রছাত্রী সংখ্যা কমছে, তাই ছাত্রসংখ্যা পরিমান ঠিক রাখতে এবার এই সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হল বলে মনে করা হচ্ছে।
