গত শনিবার ভয়াবহ ভূমিকম্পে কেঁপে উঠেছিল ফিলিপিন্স। এরপর থেকে একের পর এক আফটার শক কাঁপিয়ে চলেছে ফিলিপিন্সকে। মঙ্গলবার স্থানীয় সময় বিকেল ৪টে ২৩ নাগাদ ৫.৯ মাত্রার ভূমিকম্প আঘাত হানে ফিলিপিন্সে। লুবাংয়ের কাছে মিনদোরোয় ভূ গর্ভ থেকে ৭৯ কিলোমিটার গভীরে ভূমিকম্পটির উতসস্থল। রাজধানী মানিলায় বেশ ভালভাবেই কম্পন টের পাওয়া যায়। বাড়ি, অফিস থেকে মানুষদের ছুটে বেরিয়ে আসতে দেখা যায়।
