এয়ার ইন্ডিয়ার AI 346 বিমানটি চেন্নাই বিমানবন্দর থেকে ১৭০ জন যাত্রী নিয়ে সিঙ্গাপুরের উদ্দেশ্যে রওনা দেয়। উড়ানের অল্পক্ষণের মধ্যেই মাঝ আকাশে বিমানে কিছু কারিগরি ত্রুটি লক্ষ্য করেন চালকেরা।
মাঝ আকাশে বিমানের মধ্যে যান্ত্রিক ত্রুটি। শুক্রবার সিঙ্গাপুরগামী এয়ার ইন্ডিয়ার (Air India) একটি বিমান চেন্নাই বিমানবন্দর থেকে রওনা দেওয়ার কিছুক্ষণের মধ্যে পুনরায় বিমানবন্দর ফিরে আসে। এয়ার ইন্ডিয়ার AI 346 বিমানটি চেন্নাই বিমানবন্দর (Chennai Airport) থেকে ১৭০ জন যাত্রী নিয়ে সিঙ্গাপুরের উদ্দেশ্যে রওনা দেয়। উড়ানের অল্পক্ষণের মধ্যেই মাঝ আকাশে বিমানে কিছু কারিগরি ত্রুটি লক্ষ্য করেন চালকেরা। সমস্যাটি বুঝতে পেরেই দুই চালক যোগাযোগ করেন বিমানবন্দরে। এরপরেই চেন্নাই বিমানবন্দরে ফিরে আসে যাত্রী বোঝাই বিমান। এয়ার ইন্ডিয়ার তরফে জানানো হয়েছে, প্রত্যেক যাত্রী এবং বিমানের ক্রু সদস্যরা নিরাপদে রয়েছেন। পাশাপাশি, যাত্রীদের চেন্নাই থেকে সিঙ্গাপুর (Singapore) নিয়ে যাওয়ার জন্যে বিকল্প বিমানের ব্যবস্থা শীঘ্রই করা হবে বলে জানিয়েছেন বিমান সংস্থার এক কর্মকর্তা।
