উত্তরপ্রদেশের নিহত গ্যাংস্টার আতিক আহমেদের (Atiq Ahmed) ছেলে আসাদের (Asad) মৃত্যুর পর তার মোবাইল ফোন এবং এটিএম কার্ড ব্যবহারের প্রমাণ পাওয়া যায়। পুলিশি এনকাউন্টারে নিহত আসাদের মোবাইল ফোন এবং এটিএম কার্ড কে কীভাবে ব্যবহার করছিল, তা নিয়ে সন্দাহ দানা বাধতে শুরু করে। এরপরই শুরু হয় জোর তল্লাশি। জানা যায়, আতিন জাফর নামে এক ব্যক্তি নিহত গ্যাংস্টার পুত্রের মোবাইল ফোন এবং এটিএম কার্ড ব্যবহার শুরু করেছে। আতিন জাফর নামে ওই ব্যক্তিকে গ্রেফতার করে পুলিশ। পুলিশ, প্রশাসনকে অন্য পথে চালিত করতেই আতিন জাফর আসাদের মোবাইল, এটিএম কার্ড ব্যবহার করছিল বলে তদন্তে উঠে আসে।

The accused, Atin Zafar, was apparently doing this to mislead cops.
