পদ্মভূষণে (Padma Bhushan) ভূষিত হয়েছেন বাংলার সঙ্গীত শিল্পী ঊষা উত্থুপ (Usha Uthup)। গতকাল বৃহস্পতিবার কেন্দ্র সরকারের তরফে ঘোষিত হয়েছে পদ্ম প্রাপকদের নামের তালিকা। আজ শুক্রবার সংবাদ সংস্থা এএনআইয়ের কাছে প্রথম প্রতিক্রয়া দিলেন শিল্পী। বললেন, 'এখনও বিশ্বাস হচ্ছে না এটা সত্যি কিনা। অসাধারণ একটা অনুভূতি। ভগবানের কাছে কৃতজ্ঞ। ভারত সরকার, ভারতবাসী প্রত্যেকের কাছেই আমি কৃতজ্ঞ। ৫৪ বছর ধরে আমি গান গাইছি। যখন স্বীকৃতি মেলে তখন খুব ভালো লাগে'।
