এপ্রসঙ্গে রাজকোটের মিউনিসিপ্যাল কমিশনার (Municipal Commissioner) আনন্দ প্যাটেল (Anand Patel) বলেন, "এখনও পর্যন্ত সাত-আটজনকে উদ্ধার (rescued) করা হয়েছে। বর্তমানে তাঁরা সিভিল হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন। এখনও উদ্ধার কাজ চলছে।"
