বছরের প্রথম দিনে (New Year 2025) ভয়াবহ ঘটনা ঘটে গেল মার্কিন মুলুকে (US)। আমেরিকার নিউ ওরলিনসের বারবন স্ট্রিটে গুলি চালিয়ে হত্যা করা হল ১০ জনকে। নতুন বছরের প্রথম দিনে বারবন স্ট্রিটে ট্রাক (Truck) নিয়ে ঢুকে পড়ে এক বন্দুকবাজ। এরপর সেই বন্দুকবাজই পরপর গুলি চালিয়ে এক নাগাড়ে ১০ জনকে হত্যা করে। বন্দুকবাজের গুলিতে ১০ জনের মৃত্যুর পাশাপাশি আরও ৩০ জন আহত হন বলে খবর মেলে। রিপোর্টে প্রকাশ, বারবন স্ট্রিটে প্রথমে ট্রাক নিয়ে হঠাৎ ঢুকে পড়ে এক চালক। এরপর সেই ব্যক্তি ট্রাক দাঁড় করিয়ে মুহূর্তে গুলি চালাতে শুরু করে। যে ঘটনা প্রকাশ্যে আসতেই বিশ্ব জুড়ে চাঞ্চল্য ছড়ায়। কে বা কারা এই ঘটনার সঙ্গে যুক্ত, সে বিষয়ে তদন্ত শুরু করেছে মার্কিন পুলিশ।
