করোনাভাইরাসে (Covid-19) আক্রান্ত হলেন মার্কিন বিদেশ সচিব অ্যান্টনি ব্লিঙ্কেন (US Secretary of State Antony Blinken)। বুধবার তাঁর কোভিড রিপোর্ট পজিটিভ এসেছে। তাঁর হালকা উপসর্গ রয়েছে, সেই কারণে তিনি বাড়িতে আইসোলেশনে রয়েছেন। মার্কিন বিদেশ দফতরের এক প্রেস বিবৃতিতে বলা হয়েছে, বিদেশ সচিব সম্পূর্ণরূপে টিকাপ্রাপ্ত এবং তাঁর হালকা উপসর্গ রয়েছে। বিবৃতিতে আরও জানানো হয়েছে যে সেক্রেটারি অফ স্টেট ব্লিঙ্কেন গত কয়েকদিন ধরে মার্কিন প্রেসিডেন্ট জো বাইডেনের সঙ্গে ব্যক্তিগতভাবে সাক্ষাৎ করেননি।
