নয়াদিল্লি: বন্যায় বিধ্বস্ত স্পেন (Spain)। ভারী বর্ষায় ৯৫ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। সবচেয়ে বেশি ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে স্পেনের ভ্যালেন্সিয়া শহর। অনেক মানুষ নিখোঁজ রয়েছেন, মৃতের সংখ্যা আরও বাড়তে পারে বলে আশঙ্কা করা হচ্ছে। বিবিসি রিপোর্ট অনুসারে, গত ৫০ বছরে স্পেনে বন্যার কারণে এটাই সর্বোচ্চ মৃত্যুর সংখ্যা। এর আগে ১৯৭৩ সালের বন্যায় ১৫০ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছিল। ভ্যালেন্সিয়ার এক কর্মকর্তা জানান, মাত্র আধা ঘণ্টার মধ্যে শহরে বন্যার ফলে ব্যাপক ধ্বংসযজ্ঞ শুরু হয়। স্পেনের প্রধানমন্ত্রী পেদ্রো সানচেজ ৩ দিনের জাতীয় শোক ঘোষণা করেছেন। দেখুন-
