সাত বছর অপেক্ষার পর জি-২০-তে পাকাপাকিভাবে সদস্য়পদ পেল আফ্রিকান ইউনিয়ন।
সাত বছর অপেক্ষার পর জি-২০-তে পাকাপাকিভাবে সদস্য়পদ পেল আফ্রিকান ইউনিয়ন। ইউরোপিয়ান ইউনিয়নের মত আফ্রিকান ইউনিয়ন গঠিন হয়েছে আফ্রিকা মহাদেশের দেশগুলির সামাজিক ও অর্থনৈতিক বিকাশের জন্য। আফ্রিকার মোট ৫৫টি দেশ আছে এই ইউনিয়নে।
জি-২০ এবার থেকে জি-২১ হয়ে গেল। ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী নিজে হাতে আফ্রিকান ইউনিয়নের হাতে সদস্যপদ তুলে দেন। জি-২০-তে অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে আফ্রিকার দেশগুলি সব দিক থেকে ব্যাপক উপকৃত হবে বলে আশাপ্রকাশ করা হচ্ছে।
