ইউক্রেনের খেরসন (Kherson) শহরের নিয়ন্ত্রণ নেওয়ার দাবি করল রাশিয়ার (Russia) সামরিক বাহিনী। রাশিয়ার প্রতিরক্ষা মন্ত্রকের মুখপাত্র ইগর কোনাশেনকভ টেলিভিশনে বলেছেন, "রাশিয়ার সশস্ত্র বাহিনী খেরসন আঞ্চলিক কেন্দ্র সম্পূর্ণ নিয়ন্ত্রণে নিয়েছে।" ইউক্রেনের গভর্নরও বলেছেন যে খেরসন শহর পুরোপুরি ঘিরে ফেলেছে রাশিয়া।
