London Riots: উত্তপ্ত ব্রিটেন, দাউ দাউ করে আগুন জ্বলছে, পুলিশের গাড়িতে ভাঙচুর

নয়াদিল্লি: একদিকে ভারতের প্রতিবেশী বাংলাদেশ কোটা সংস্কার আন্দোলনে জ্বলছে, আন্দোলন এতটাই রক্তক্ষয়ী রূপ নিয়েছে যে দেশের শাসনব্যবস্থা সংকটে পৌঁছেছে। আবার এদিকে ব্রিটেনে সকার বদলের পর থেকে পরিস্থিতি উত্তপ্ত। বৃহস্পতিবার সন্ধ্যায় ব্রিটেনের লিডস শহরে ধুন্দধুমার কাণ্ড বাধে। শহরের কেন্দ্রে বিপুল সংখ্যক মানুষ জড়ো হয়ে তোলপাড় সৃষ্টি করে। বিক্ষুব্ধ জনতা একটি বাসে আগুন ধরিয়ে দেয় এবং পুলিশের গাড়িতে হামলা চালায়।

সূত্রে খবর, লিডসের হেয়ারহিলস এলাকার লুক্সর স্ট্রিটে বৃহস্পতিবার স্থানীয় সময় বিকেল ৫টায় ভিড় জমতে শুরু করে, ভিড়ের মধ্যে কিছু শিশুও ছিল। আচমকা জনতা ক্ষিপ্ত হয়ে ওঠে এবং কিছুক্ষণের মধ্যেই দাঙ্গা শুরু হয়। তবে এ হামলায় এখনও করও হতাহত হওয়ার খবর পাওয়া যায়নি। সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায় ভাইরাল হওয়া ভিডিওতে দেখা যায় বিপুল সংখ্যক মানুষ পুলিশের গাড়িতে হামলা করছে।
