New Year in New Zealand: ভারতে যখন বিকেল ৪:৩০ মিনিট ঠিক সেই সময়ে নিউজিল্যান্ডে (New Zealand) বদলে গেল ক্যালেন্ডারের পাতা। ২০২৩ বিদায় নিয়ে সেদেশে চলে এক ২০২৪। 'নিউ ইয়ার' (New Year 2024) উদযাপনে মেতে উঠেছে গোটা নিউজিল্যান্ডবাসী। আকাশজুড়ে আতশবাজীর পসরা সাজিয়ে চলছে উদযাপন। নিউজিল্যান্ড হল দ্বিতীয় দেশ যেখানে নতুন বছর পড়ে গিয়েছে। দুনিয়ার মধ্যে সবার আগে নতুন বছর ঢোকে কিরিতিমাতিতে (Kiritimati Island)। সূর্য সবার আগে এখানেই ওঠে। ভারতের সময়ে ৩:৩০ মিনিটে সেখানে নতুন বছর পড়ে গিয়েছে।
