Mahatma Gandhi Statue Vandalised: কানাডায় মহাত্মা গান্ধীর প্রতিকৃতিতে ভাঙচুর, ব্যবস্থা নেওয়ার আর্জি ভারতীয় দূতাবাসের
এই ঘটনার পরপরই কানাডায় ভ্যাঙ্কুভারে অবস্থিত ভারতীয় দূতাবাসের পক্ষ থেকে সেখানকার প্রশাসনের তরফে ব্যবস্থা নেওয়ার জন্য আরজি জানানো হয়েছে।
কানাডার সিমন ফ্রেজার বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে মহাত্মা গান্ধীর মূর্তি ভেঙে ফেলার অভিযোগ।কে বা কারা এই ঘটনার সঙ্গে জড়িত তা এখনও জানা যায়নি। এই ঘটনার পরপরই কানাডায় ভ্যাঙ্কুভারে অবস্থিত ভারতীয় দূতাবাসের পক্ষ থেকে সেখানকার প্রশাসনের তরফে ব্যবস্থা নেওয়ার জন্য আরজি জানানো হয়েছে।
শুধু এই বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় নয় এর আগে ওন্টেরিওতে মহাত্মা গান্ধীর মূর্তিতে ভাঙচুর করা হয়।
