জাপানের জনসংখ্যা কমেই চলেছে। গত বছর জাপানের জনসংখ্যা কমাটা রেকর্ড জায়গায় গিয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে। ২০২৩ সালে জাপানে জনসংখ্যা কমেছে ৮ লক্ষ ৩১ হাজার ৮৭২ জন।
