বিগত কয়েক বছর ধরে ভারতের (India) সঙ্গে সম্পর্ক ভালো হয়েছে ইতালির (Italy)। দুই দেশের কুটনৈতিক সম্পর্ক ভালো হওয়ার পেছনে রয়েছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী ও ইতালির প্রধানমন্ত্রী জর্জিয়া মেলোনি। বৃহস্পতিবার ৭৮ তম স্বাধীনতা দিবসে ভারতবাসীদের শুভেচ্ছাবার্তা দিলেন মেলোনি। এদিন এক্স হ্যাণ্ডেলে টুইটে লেখেন, "স্বাধীনতা দিবসে আমি সকল ভারতবাসীকে শুভেচ্ছা জানাতে চাই। ভারত ও ইতালির সম্পর্ক প্রতিনিয়ত শক্তিশালী হচ্ছে এবং আমরা আত্মবিশ্বাসী যে এই সম্পর্কের কারণে আমরা দুর্দান্ত কিছু অর্জন করব। আমাদের কুটনৈতিক সম্পর্ক ভবিষ্যতের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ স্তম্ভ"।
