ইজরায়েল হামাসের যুদ্ধ ক্রমশই আঞ্চলিক যুদ্ধে পরিণত হচ্ছে। যুদ্ধে প্রতিবেশী দেশগুলির সঙ্গে সংঘাত বাড়ছে মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্র এবং ব্রিটেনের। লোহিত সাগরে (Red Sea) বাণিজ্যিক জাহাজে হামলার মাধ্যমে যুদ্ধে নিজেদের অর্ন্তভুক্ত করেছে ইয়েমেন। এই পরিস্থিতিতে যথেষ্ট চাপের মুখে ইজরায়েল। তবুও যুদ্ধ থেকে পিছু না হটার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে বেঞ্জামিন নেতানিয়াহুর (Benjamin Netaniyahu ) নেতৃত্বাধীন ইজরায়েল।
এই বিষয়ে নেতানিয়াহু জানিয়েছেন যে সম্পূর্ণ বিজয় না হওয়া পর্যন্ত গাজা থেকে নিজেদের সৈন্য প্রত্যাহার করবে না ইজরায়েল।
