আজ দুপুরে সে দেশে বসবাসকারী ভারতীয়দের একটি অনুষ্ঠানে যোগ দিয়ে আবেগে ভাসলেন তিনি। উপস্থিত ছিলেন অস্ট্রেলিয়ার প্রধানমন্ত্রী অ্যান্টনি অ্যালবানিজ়ও। নমস্তে অস্ট্রেলিয়া- বলে বক্তৃতা শুরু করে সে দেশের বাসিন্দা ও সে দেশে বসবাসকারী ভারতীয়দের ধন্যবাদ জানালেন মোদী।
ত্রিদেশীয় সফরের শেষ পর্বে অস্ট্রেলিয়ার সিডনিতে পৌঁছেছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী। আজ দুপুরে সে দেশে বসবাসকারী ভারতীয়দের একটি অনুষ্ঠানে যোগ দিয়ে আবেগে ভাসলেন তিনি। উপস্থিত ছিলেন অস্ট্রেলিয়ার প্রধানমন্ত্রী অ্যান্টনি অ্যালবানিজ়ও। নমস্তে অস্ট্রেলিয়া- বলে বক্তৃতা শুরু করে সে দেশের বাসিন্দা ও সে দেশে বসবাসকারী ভারতীয়দের ধন্যবাদ জানালেন মোদী।অস্ট্রেলীয় প্রশাসনে প্রবাসী ভারতীয়দের শীর্ষ পদে বসা নিয়ে অভিনন্দন জানালেন মোদী। এরপরই প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি বলেন, "অস্ট্রেলিয়ায় বসবাসকারী ভারতীয়দের দীর্ঘদিনের দাবি মেনে শীঘ্রই ব্রিসবেনে একটি নতুন ভারতীয় কনস্যুলেট খোলা হবে"। শুনে নেব কী বললেন তিনি-
