Russia-Finland: রাশিয়া সীমান্তে বেষ্টনী দিচ্ছে ফিনল্যান্ড

ইউক্রেনের সঙ্গে রাশিয়ার যুদ্ধে ফিনল্যান্ড পুতিনের বিরোধিতা নামে। ইউক্রেনকে সরাসরি সমর্থন করে প্রতিবেশী দেশ ফিনল্যান্ড। ইউক্রেনকে সমর্থন করায় ভ্লাদিমির পুতিনের দেশের রোষানলে পড়েছে ফিনল্যান্ড। আর তাই রাশিয়া থেকে সুরক্ষিত থাকতে পুতিনের সঙ্গে তাদের দেশের সীমান্তে বেষ্টনী দিচ্ছে ফিনল্যান্ড। এতদিন যার প্রয়োজন পড়েনি। ফিনল্যান্ডের পার্লামেন্টে এই নিয়ে সর্বসম্মতিক্রমে সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছিল গত বছরেই।
এই প্রজেক্টের জন্য আর্থিক খরচের বরাদ্দও পাশ হয়। চলতি বছর ফেব্রুয়ারিতে এর কাজ শুরু হয়েছে। রাশিয়ার সঙ্গে ৩০০ কিলোমিটার সীমান্ত ভাগ করে ফিনল্যান্ড। তার পুরোটাই এবার বেষ্টনীতে ঘেরা থাকছে। বেষ্টনী ছাড়াও রাশিয়ার সঙ্গে সীমান্তে কড়া নজরদারির ব্যবস্থা করেছে ফিনল্যান্ড।
