ঘটনার জেরে এখনও পর্যন্ত ক্ষয়ক্ষতির কোন খবর পাওয়া যায়নি। ভূমিকম্পের পাশাপাশি তীব্র দাবানলেও পুড়ছে চিলি। এরই মধ্যে ১৯ জন প্রাণ হারিয়েছেন দাবানলের দুর্ঘটনায়। ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্ত হয়েছে প্রায় ১ হাজার বাড়ি।
