চিলিতে ভয়াবহ দাবানলের জেরে মৃতের সংখ্যা বেড়ে দাঁড়াল ১২২। গত শুক্রবার থেকে হয়ে চলা এই আগুনের জেরে ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্ত হয়েছে বহু বাড়ি। তাপমাত্রার পরিমান এতটাই বেড়েছে যে তা আশেপাশের দেশগুলি যেমন আর্জেন্টিনা এবং অন্যান্য নিকটবর্তী দেশগুলিতে ছড়িয়েছে তাপমাত্রার আঁচ।
চিলির প্রেসিডেন্টের পক্ষ থেকে দেশটিতে জারি করা হয়েছে আপৎকালীন পরিস্থিতি।নামানো হয়েছে সেনা।
