Capsized Chinese Ship: ১৪টি মৃতদেহ উদ্ধারের পর, ডুবন্ত চিনা জাহাজ উদ্ধার অভিযান শেষ শ্রীলংকা নৌবাহিনীর

মোট ১৪টি মৃতদেহ উদ্ধারের পর শ্রীলঙ্কার নৌবাহিনী চীনের গভীর সমুদ্রে ডুবে যাওয়া মাছ ধরার জাহাজের চলমান অভিযানে সহায়তা করার অনুসন্ধান ও উদ্ধার অভিযান শেষ করেছে। গত ১৬ মে মধ্য ভারত মহাসাগরে ডুবে যাওয়া জাহাজটিতে ৩৯ জন আরোহী ছিলেন। এদের মধ্যে ১৭ জন চীনা নাবিক, ১৯ জন ইন্দোনেশিয়ার নাবিক এবং ৫ জন ফিলিপিন্সের নাবিক ছিলেন। নৌবাহিনীর মুখপাত্র ক্যাপ্টেন গায়ান বিক্রমাসূর্য সংবাদ সংস্থা IANS-কে জানান, একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অভিযান শেষে ডুবুরিরা শ্রীলঙ্কা থেকে ৭০০ নটিক্যাল মাইল দূরে ডুবে যাওয়া জাহাজের ভেতরে আটকা পড়া ১৪ জনের মৃতদেহ উদ্ধার করেছে। তিনি বলেন, মৃতদেহের ম্যাপ করা অবস্থান, ডুবুরিদের উল্টে যাওয়া জাহাজে প্রবেশ ও বের হওয়ার জন্য নিরাপদ পথ এবং পরবর্তী পদক্ষেপ সম্পর্কে চীনা উদ্ধারকারী দলকে বিস্তারিত অবহিত করা হয়েছে।
