প্রচন্ড বৃষ্টিপাতের জেরে বন্যা পরিস্থিতি ক্যালিফোর্নিয়ার সান জোয়াকুইনে। ক্যালিফোর্নিয়ার ২ টি শহরে ইতিমধ্যেই শুর হয়েছে জনপদ সরানোর কাজ। আলপাগ এবং অ্যালেনসোর্থে চলছে জনবসতি খালি করার কাজ। একেই তো প্রচুর বৃষ্টিপাত, তার ওপর ঠান্ডা আবহাওয়ার জেরে পরিস্থিতি আরও ভয়ঙ্কর হয়ে পড়ে দক্ষিণ ক্যালিফোর্নিয়া এলাকায়।
আবহাওয়া দফতরের পূর্বাভাষ অনুযায়ী মঙ্গল এবং বুধবার ঝোড়ো আবহাওয়া দেখা দিতে পারে। ঘন্টায় ৮০ কিমি বেগে ঝড়ের সম্ভাবনার কথা জানিয়েছে আবহাওয়া দফতরের তরফে।
