প্রবল ঘূর্ণিঝড়ে বিধ্বস্ত মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্র। আরকানকাসের মধ্যাঞ্চলে এই ঘূর্ণিঝড়ে ১৮ জনের মৃত্যুর খবর পাওয়া গিয়েছে। মিসিসিপি থেকে উইসকনসিন পর্যন্ত চলা এই ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের ফলে মার্কিন মুলুকে এখনও পর্যন্ত ৭০০টি বিমান বাতিল করা হয়েছে। ৪৮০০টি বিমান ছাড়ার সময় পিছিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে।
ফলে বিমানবন্দরে আটকে পড়েছেন বহু মানুষ। ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের ফল বিভিন্ন রাস্তাও বন্ধ হয়ে গিয়েছে। সব মিলিয়ে চরম ভোগান্তিতে মানুষ।
