Flesh-Eating Bacteria: ফ্লোরিডায় ভয়ঙ্কর হারিকেনের পর মাংস খাওয়া ব্যাকটেরিয়ার সংক্রমণে ১৩ জনের মৃত্যু

নয়াদিল্লি: ফ্লোরিডায় (Florida) ভয়ঙ্কর হারিকেনের (Hurricanes) প্রকোপ কাটতে না কাটতেই বিরল মাংস খাওয়া ব্যাকটেরিয়া (Flesh-Eating Bacteria) সংক্রমণ দেখা দিয়েছে। সূত্রে খবর, এই বিরল ব্যাকটেরিয়া সংক্রমণে ১৩ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। ফ্লোরিডা স্বাস্থ্য কর্তৃপক্ষ জানিয়েছে ২০২৪ সালে ভিব্রিও ভালনিফিকাস সংক্রমণের ৭৪টি ঘটনা সামনে এসেছে। ২০২৩ সালে ৪৬টি সংক্রমণের ঘটনা সামনে আসে এবং ১১ জনের মৃত্যু হয়। ফ্লোরিডা স্বাস্থ্য বিভাগের মতে,  ভিব্রিও ভালনিফিকাস (Vibrio vulnificus) হল সমুদ্রের নোনাজলে প্রাকৃতিকভাবে বাড়তে থাকা এটি ব্যাকটেরিয়া, এটি লবণ পেলেই বেঁচে থাকতে পারে। দেখুন-
