তৃণমূল নেতা সেখ শাহাজাহান বিশ্বাসকে গ্রেফতারের দাবিতে মহিলাদের প্রতিবাদ বিক্ষোভ বেড়েই চলেছে উত্তর ২৪ পরগণার সন্দেশখালিতে।এই পরিস্থিতিতে রাজ্য প্রসাশনের তরফে হিঙ্গলগঞ্জের এলাকাতেও ইন্টারনেট বন্ধ করার সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হল।
তপশিলি জাতির মহিলাদের হেনস্থার অভিযোগ উঠে আসছিল তৃণমূলের এই নেতার বিরুদ্ধে। সেই অভিযোগের জেরেই ক্ষোভ বাড়ছিল মহিলাদের মধ্যে। সেই ক্ষোভ আঁচ করতে পেরে এবার হিঙ্গলগঞ্জ এলাকাতেও বন্ধ করা হল ইন্টারনেট পরিষেবা।
