রাজ্যের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় এবং তৃণমূলের সর্বভারতীয় সাধারণ সম্পাদক অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের নাম করে বালু বলেন, 'মমতাদি-অভিষেক সব জানে। দলের সঙ্গে ছিলাম আছি থাকব'।
রেশন বণ্টন দুর্নীতি মামলায় (Ration Scam Case) ইডির হাতে গ্রেফতার হয়েছেন রাজ্যের প্রাক্তন খাদ্যমন্ত্রী এবং বর্তমান বনমন্ত্রী জ্যোতিপ্রিয় মল্লিক (Jyotipriya Mallick)। শুক্রবার সকালে স্বাস্থ্য পরীক্ষার জন্য ইডির দফতর সিজিও কমপ্লেক্স থেকে বের করা হয় বালুকে (জ্যোতিপ্রিয় মল্লিকের ডাক নাম)। আর তখনই নিজেকে 'নির্দোষ' বলে সাংবাদিকদের জানালেন তিনি। সূত্রের খবর, ইডি হেফাজতে থাকা মন্ত্রীকে বলতে শোনা গিয়েছে, 'আমি চক্রান্তের শিকার। বিজেপি আমায় ফাঁসাচ্ছে'। এরপরেই রাজ্যের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় এবং তৃণমূলের সর্বভারতীয় সাধারণ সম্পাদক অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের নাম করে বালু বলেন, 'মমতাদি-অভিষেক সব জানে। দলের সঙ্গে ছিলাম আছি থাকব'।
