Bappi Lahiri Passes Away: 'প্রতিভাকে স্মরণ করতে থাকব', বাপ্পি লাহিড়ির প্রয়াণে শোকপ্রকাশ মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতার
গতরাতে প্রয়াত হয়েছেন গায়ক ও সুরকার বাপ্পি লাহিড়ি (Bappi Lahiri)। তাঁর প্রয়াণে শোকপ্রকাশ করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় (CM Mamata Banerjee)। টুইটে তিনি লেখেন, "কিংবদন্তি গায়ক ও সুরকার বাপ্পি লাহিড়ির অকাল প্রয়াণের খবর শুনে মর্মাহত। আমাদের উত্তরবঙ্গের ছেলে তিনি। নিখুঁত প্রতিভা এবং কঠোর পরিশ্রমে সর্বভারতীয় খ্যাতি এবং সাফল্য পেয়েছিলেন তিনি। সংগীতে তাঁর অবদান আমাদের গর্বিত করেছে। আমরা তাঁকে আমাদের সর্বোচ্চ রাষ্ট্রীয় অসামরিক পুরস্কার 'বঙ্গবিভূষণ' প্রদান করেছি এবং তাঁর প্রতিভাকে স্মরণ করতে থাকব। আমার আন্তরিক সমবেদনা।"
