Gold Smuggling: বিদেশ থেকে চোরাপথে সোনা এনে দেশে পাচার, কলকাতা থেকে গ্রেফতার ব্যবসায়ী
কেশবের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ, বাংলাদেশ, মায়ানমার, সিঙ্গাপুর থেকে চোরাপথে সোনা ভারতে এনে দেশের বিভিন্ন স্থানে পৌঁছে দিতেন তিনি। ধৃতের কাছ থেকে ২ কোটি টাকার সোনাও উদ্ধার করেছে রেভেনিউ ইন্টালিজেন্স আধিকারিকরা।
সোনার চোরাকারবারীর (Gold Smuggling) অভিযোগে কলকাতা (Kolkata) থেকে গ্রেফতার হলেন এক ব্যবসায়ী। শনিবার ডিরেক্টরেট অব রেভেনিউ ইন্টালিজেন্স (Directorate of Revenue Intelligence) পাকড়াও করেছে অভিযুক্তকে। কেন্দ্রীয় সংস্থা সূত্রে খবর, ওই ব্যবসায়ী নাম কেশব বিশ্বম্ভর চৌহান। তাঁর বাড়ি পি সি লাহিড়ী সরণীতে। নিজের বাড়ি থেকেই গ্রেফতার হয়েছেন তিনি। রবিবার অভিযুক্তকে ব্যাঙ্কশাল আদালতে হাজির করা হয়। কেশবের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ, বাংলাদেশ, মায়ানমার, সিঙ্গাপুর থেকে চোরাপথে সোনা ভারতে এনে দেশের বিভিন্ন স্থানে পৌঁছে দিতেন তিনি। ধৃতের কাছ থেকে ২ কোটি টাকার সোনাও উদ্ধার করেছে রেভেনিউ ইন্টালিজেন্স আধিকারিকরা।
