ব্লুমবার্গকে প্রকাশিত রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী, কোন অমীমাংসিত বিরোধের জেরে সংযুক্তিকরণ সমাপ্তির সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে সোনি এবং জি। ২০ জানুয়ারির মধ্যেই চুক্তি সমাপ্তির বিজ্ঞপ্তিও জি-কে পাঠানোর প্রস্তুতি শুরু করে দিয়েছে সোনি।
