বায়ু দূষনের ওপর নজর রাখতে এবার মহাকাশে স্যাটেলাইট পাঠাল নাসা। স্পেস এক্স প্যালকন ৯ রকেটের মাধ্যমে ফ্লোরিডার কেপ কার্নিভাল স্পেস ফোর্স স্টেশন থেকে পাঠানো হয় এই উপগ্রহ।
ট্রপোস্ফিয়ারিক এমিশন মনিটরিং অফ পলিউশনের মাধ্যমে দূষণ সংক্রান্ত নানান তথ্য জানতে পারে যাবে।যা ভবিষ্যতে বায়ুদূষণ সংক্রান্ত সমস্যাগুলিকে নিরাময় করতে অনেকটা সাহায্য করবে।
