মোবাইল ফোন রফতানিতে নয়া নজির ভারতের। চলতি অর্থবর্ষে ভারত মোট ১২ হাজার কোটি টাকার মোবাইল ফোন বিদেশে রফতানি করেছে। মোবাইল ফোন রফতানিতে ৯০ শতাংশ বৃদ্ধি হয়েছে সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরশাহি, আমেরিকা, নেদারল্যান্ডস, ইউকে, এবং ইতালিতে সবচেয়ে বেশী মোবাইল রফতানি করেছে ভারত। দেশের মোবাইল ফোন তৈরি ৪০ বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলার ছাড়িয়ে যাবে বলে মনে করা হচ্ছে।
বিদেশে রফতানি করা ৫০ শতাংশই অ্যাপেলের আই ফোন। চলতি বছর এপ্লি, মে মাসে মোবাইল ফোন রফতানিতে ১২৮ শতাংশ বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে ভারতের। গত অর্থবর্ষে ভারত মোট ১২ লক্ষ কোটি টাকার মোবাইল ফোন রফতানি করেছিল। সেখানে চলতি বছর মে মাসে ভারত ১০ হাজার কোটি টাকার আই ফোন রফতানি করেছেন।
