Online Betting Advisory: সংবাদমাধ্যমকে অনলাইন জুয়ার বিজ্ঞাপন দিতে নিষেধ করল তথ্য ও সম্প্রচার মন্ত্রক
অনলাইন বেটিং প্ল্যাটফর্ম নিয়ে বিভিন্ন স্তর থেকেই নানা অভিযোগ যাচ্ছিল কেন্দ্রীয় তথ্য ও সম্প্রচার মন্ত্রকের কাছে। সংবাদমাধ্যমে এই ধরনের বেটিং অ্যাপের বিজ্ঞাপন দেখে সাধারণ মানুষ প্রভাবিত হয়ে সর্বশান্ত হচ্ছেন বলেও দাবি করা হয়েছিল।
অনলাইন বেটিং প্ল্যাটফর্ম (Online Betting platform) নিয়ে বিভিন্ন স্তর থেকেই নানা অভিযোগ যাচ্ছিল কেন্দ্রীয় তথ্য ও সম্প্রচার মন্ত্রকের (I&B Ministry) কাছে। সংবাদমাধ্যমে (media) এই ধরনের বেটিং অ্যাপের বিজ্ঞাপন দেখে সাধারণ মানুষ প্রভাবিত হয়ে সর্বশান্ত হচ্ছেন বলেও দাবি করা হয়েছিল। তার ভিত্তিতে অবশেষে কড়া পদক্ষেপ নিল কেন্দ্রীয় তথ্য ও সম্প্রচার মন্ত্রক। এই বিষয়ে বৃহস্পতিবার একটি নির্দেশিকা (advisory) বের করেছে তারা।
তাতে দেশের সমস্ত খবরের কাগজ (Newspaper), স্যাটেলাইট টেলিভিশন চ্যানেল (Private Satellite Television Channels), ডিজিটাল মিডিয়া (digital media) ও অনলাইন বিজ্ঞাপন মাধ্যমগুলিতে (online advertisement intermediaries) অনলাইন বেটিং অ্যাপের বিজ্ঞাপন ও প্রচার করতে নিষেধ করা হয়েছে।
