মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্র সফরে অ্যালফাবেট (Alphabet) ও গুগলের (Google) ভারতীয় বংশোদ্ভূত সিইও সুন্দর পিচাই (Sundar Pichai)-য়ের সঙ্গে বৈঠক করেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (PM Narendra Modi)। সুন্দর পিচাই ঘোষণা করেন, গুগল তাদের গ্লোবাল ফিনটেক অপারেশন সেন্টার খুলতে চলেছে গুজরাটের আমেদাবাদের গিফট সিটি (GIFT City)-তে। মোদীর সঙ্গে বৈঠকের পর পিচাই জানান, গুগল ও আলফাবেট ভারত বিনিয়োগ চালিয়ে যাবে তাদের ১০ বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলার ডিজিটিশন ফান্ড থেকে।
