বাংলা থেকে জাতীয় দলে খেলা তারকা ক্রিকেটার ঋদ্ধিমান সাহা অভিমানে বাংলা ছাড়েন। বাংলা ছেড়ে ঋদ্ধি ঘরোয়া ক্রিকেটে ত্রিপুরার হয়ে খেলার সিদ্ধান্ত নেন গত মরসুমে।

ঋদ্ধিমানের পাশাপাশি বাংলার তারকা ক্রিকেটার সুদীপ চ্যাটার্জিও ত্রিপুরার হয়ে খেলতে চুক্তি বাড়িয়েছেন। আগামী মরসুমে ত্রিপুরার কোচ হচ্ছেন রাজস্থানের প্রাক্তন ব্যাটার বিনিত সাক্সেনা।
