Northeast Half Marathon: উত্তর-পূর্বে ক্রীড়া কার্যক্রম জোরদার করার লক্ষ্যে আয়োজিত হল উত্তর-পূর্ব হাফ ম্যারাথন (দেখুন ভিডিও)
উত্তর-পূর্বে ক্রীড়া কার্যক্রমকে জোরদার করার উদ্দেশ্যে উত্তর-পূর্ব সীমান্ত রেলওয়ে প্রথম বার আয়োজন করল উত্তর-পূর্ব হাফ ম্যারাথনের। সারা দেশ থেকে এই ম্যারাথনে অংশগ্রহণ করেছে প্রায় ৭০০০ প্রতিযোগী।
৫ফেব্রুয়ারি, আসাম: উত্তর-পূর্বে ক্রীড়া কার্যক্রমকে জোরদার করার উদ্দেশ্যে উত্তর-পূর্ব সীমান্ত রেলওয়ে(Northeast Frontier Railway) প্রথম বার আয়োজন করল উত্তর-পূর্ব হাফ ম্যারাথনের। ক্রীড়া প্রতিমন্ত্রী নিশিথ প্রামাণিক এবং অন্যান্য বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিরা পতাকা নাড়িয়ে হাফ ম্যারাথনের যাত্রা শুরু করেন।

সাক্ষাৎকারে ক্রীড়া প্রতিমন্ত্রী নিশিথ প্রামাণিক জানান- উত্তর-পূর্ব সীমান্ত রেলওয়ে (Northeast Frontier Railway)প্রথমবারের মতো এই গ্র্যান্ড হাফ ম্যারাথনের আয়োজন করেছে। আমি ফিট ইন্ডিয়া আন্দোলনের জন্য প্রধানমন্ত্রীকে ধন্যবাদ জানাই। এই ধরনের হাফ ম্যারাথন প্রতিটি রাজ্যে আয়োজন করা উচিত। সারা দেশ থেকে এই ম্যারাথনে আমাদের প্রায় ৭০০০ জন অংশগ্রহণকারী ছিল।
For the first time, North East Frontier Railway organised such a grand half marathon. I thank the PM for his nationwide Fit India Movement. Such half-marathons should be organised in every state.
