মোট ১৯ জন খেলোয়াড় এবং কোচিং স্টাফ আগের সন্ধ্যায় আসার পরে শনিবার ভুবনেশ্বরে ভারতীয় সিনিয়র পুরুষদের জাতীয় দলের শিবির শুরু হয়েছে। কুয়েত ও কাতারের বিপক্ষে ২০২৬ ফিফা বিশ্বকাপের প্রাথমিক যৌথ বাছাইপর্বের দ্বিতীয় রাউন্ডের প্রস্তুতির জন্য ১৫ মে আরও ১৩ জন খেলোয়াড় যোগ দেবেন বলে আশা করা হচ্ছে। মূল তালিকার ৯ জন খেলোয়াড় ব্যক্তিগত কারণ ও চোটের কারণে ক্যাম্প থেকে অনুপস্থিত রয়েছেন। শনিবার সকালে জিম ট্রেনিং সেশন দিয়ে ক্যাম্প শুরু হয়, এরপর সন্ধ্যায় অন পিচ ট্রেনিং সেশন চলে। ৬ জুন কলকাতায় কুয়েতের বিপক্ষে মাঠে নামার পর ১১ জুন দোহায় কাতারের বিপক্ষে 'এ' গ্রুপে নিজেদের শেষ দুই ম্যাচ খেলবে ব্লু টাইগার্সরা। এই মুহূর্তে চার ম্যাচে চার পয়েন্ট নিয়ে গ্রুপের দ্বিতীয় স্থানে রয়েছে ভারত। গ্রুপের শীর্ষ দুই দল ফিফা বিশ্বকাপ বাছাইপর্বের তৃতীয় রাউন্ডে খেলার যোগ্যতা অর্জন করবে এবং ২০২৭ সালে এএফসি এশিয়ান কাপ সৌদি আরবে খেলার যোগ্যতা অর্জন করবে। India Football Squad: ফিফা বাছাইপর্বের প্রথম ম্যাচের জন্য ভারতীয় ফুটবলের দল ঘোষণা
