বীরসা মুন্ডা স্টেডিয়ামে ফেডারেশন কাপ ২০২৩ অ্যাথলেটিক্সে মহিলাদের ১০০ মিটার হার্ডলসে সোনা জিতলেন জ্যোতি ইয়ারাজি। ১২.৮৯ সেকেন্ডে মিট-রেকর্ড করে পোডিয়ামের শীর্ষে জ্যোতি ইয়ারাজি। অন্ধ্রপ্রদেশের এই ক্রীড়াবিদ তার নিজের জাতীয় রেকর্ড ১২.৮২ থেকেও পিছিয়ে ছিলেন। পরে জ্যোতি ইয়ারাজি ২০০ মিটার হিটে শীর্ষে ফিরে আসেন এবং ২৩.৪৭ সেকেন্ড সময় নিয়ে ফাইনালে খেলার যোগ্যতা অর্জন করেন। চিহ্নটি এশিয়ান চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপের প্রবেশ মানের চেয়েও ভাল ছিল। পুরুষদের ১০০ মিটার হার্ডলসে ১৩.৭২ সেকেন্ড সময় নিয়ে সোনা জিতেছেন তেজস অশোক শিরসে। এর আগে ২০১২ সালে সিদ্ধান্ত থিঙ্গালয়া ১২.৬৫ সেকেন্ডের রেকর্ড গড়েছিলেন। মহিলাদের ডিসকাস থ্রো-তে শালিনী চৌধুরী ৪৯.৩৫ মিটারে এবং পুরুষদের হ্যামার থ্রো-তে পাঞ্জাবের দামনীত সিং ৬৪.৯১ মিটারে জিতেছেন।
