CWG 2022: ভারতকে ষষ্ঠ সোনা এনে দিলেন প্যারা-ভারোত্তোলক সুধীর, লং জাম্পে রুপো জয় শ্রীশঙ্কর মুরলির
চলতি কমনওয়েলথ গেমসে (Commonwealth Games 2022) ভারতকে ষষ্ঠ সোনা (Gold Meel) এনে দিলেন প্যারা-ভারোত্তোলক সুধীর (Sudhir)। কমনওয়েলথ গেমসের ইতিহাসে প্যারা-ভারোত্তোলনে এটাই ভারতের প্রথম পদক। হেভিওয়েট বিভাগে সুধীর ২১২ কেজি ভার তুলে ১৩৪.৫ পয়েন্ট সংগ্রহ করেন। ফলে কমনওয়েলথ গেমসে তৈরি হয় নতুন রেকর্ড। এছাডা়ও তেজস্বীন শঙ্করের ব্রোঞ্জের পর ট্র্যাক অ্যান্ড ফিল্ডে ভারতের দ্বিতীয় এসেছে। লং জাম্পে (Long Jump) ভারতকে রুপো (Silver Medel) এনে দিয়েছেন শ্রীশঙ্কর মুরলি (Sreeshankar Murali)। নিজের সর্বকালের সেরা ৮.০৮ মিটার লাফ দিয়ে রুপো জেতেন তিনি।
