করোনা (Covid-19) আক্রান্ত হলেন দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকার ব্যাটার এইডেন মার্করাম (Aiden Markram)। তাই বৃহস্পতিবার ভারতের বিরুদ্ধে প্রথম টি-টোয়েন্টি (India vs South Africa 1st T20I) থেকে তিনি বাদ পড়েছেন। ২ জুন ভারতে আসে দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকা দল। এখানে আসার পর গত সপ্তাহে দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকার বাকি দলের সঙ্গে প্রথম রাউন্ডের কোভিড টেস্ট করানো হয় মার্করামের। সেই সময় তাঁর রিপোর্ট নেগেটিভ এসেছিল। মার্করাম না খেলায় আজ আন্তর্জাতিক ক্রিকেটে অভিষেক হয়েছে ট্রিস্টান স্টাবসের (Tristan Stubbs)।
