Argentina to Play in Kerala: আগামী নভেম্বরে কেরলে প্রীতি ম্যাচ খেলতে চলেছে ফুটবলের বিশ্বচ্যাম্পিয়ন দেশ আর্জেন্টিনা (Argentina National Football Team)। প্রতিপক্ষ এখনও ঠিক না হলেও ২০২৬ বিশ্বকাপের প্রস্তুতির কথা মাথায় রেখে লিওনেল মেসি (Lionel Messi)রা ১৪৫ কোটির দেশ ভারতের মাটিতে খেলতে চলেছে। ১০-১৮ নভেম্বরের মধ্যে কোনও একটি দিনে কোচির জওহরলাল নেহরু স্টেডিয়ামে হতে চলেছে। ১৪ বছর পর ভারতের মাটিতে খেলতে চলেছে আর্জেন্টিনার জাতীয় ফুটবল দল। ২০১১ সালে কলকাতার সল্টলেক স্টেডিয়ামে ভেনেজুয়েলার বিরুদ্ধে এক প্রীতি ম্য়াচে খেলেছিলেন মেসিরা। কোচিতে নভেম্বরে হতে চলা মেসিদের ম্যাচ নিয়ে কেরলের ক্রীড়ামন্ত্রী ভি আব্দুরাহিমন জানালেন, "গতকাল রাতে আর্জেন্টিনা ফুটবল সংস্থা ভারতে খেলতে আসার ব্যাপারটা নিশ্চিত করেছে। আমরা ওদের অক্টোবরে বা নভেম্বরে খেলতে আসতে আমন্ত্রণ জানিয়েছিলাম। ওরা বলেছিল, আগামী বছর আসবে। কিন্তু আমরা বলেছিলাম বিশ্বচ্যাম্পিয়ন দেশকে আমরা সংবর্ধনা দিতে চাই, তাই এই বছর এলে খুবই ভাল হয়। ওরা পূর্ণশক্তির দল নিয়ে কেরলে খেলতে আসতে রাজি হয়।"
