45th FIDE Chess Olympiad: ৪৫তম ফিডে দাবা অলিম্পিয়াডের সূচনা বুদাপেস্টে, প্রথম খেলাতেই জয় পেল ভারত
হাঙ্গেরির রাজধানী বুদাপেস্টে আজ থেকে শুরু হচ্ছে । ১২ দিনের এই প্রতিযোগিতায় ১৯৩ টি দেশের ১৮’শর বেশী খেলোয়াড় অংশ নিচ্ছেন। ১৯৩ টি দেশের জাতীয় দল ওপেন বিভাগে নিবন্ধিত হয়েছে। এছাড়া আরও ১৮১ টি দল মহিলাদের বিভাগে প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বিতা করবে। এই প্রতিযোগিতায় মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের ঠিক পিছনে ভারত দ্বিতীয় বাছাই দল হিসাবে ওপেন বিভাগে প্রবেশ করেছে। খেলার প্রথম দিনেই ওপেন বিভাগে ভারত মরোক্কোকে চার-শূণ্যতে পরাজিত করেছে।অন্যদিকে মহিলা বিভাগে ভারত, জামাইকা-কে সাড়ে তিন-শূণ্য পয়েন্টে হারিয়ে দেয়।
