ইতালির তুরিনে অনুষ্ঠিত স্পেশাল অলিম্পিকস উইন্টার গেমসে ভারতীয় ক্রীড়াবিদরা ৮টি স্বর্ণ, ১৮টি রৌপ্য এবং ৭টি ব্রোঞ্জ সহ ৩৩টি পদক জিতে তাদের অসাধারণ অভিযান শেষ করেছেন। গতকাল শেষ দিনে ভারত ৯টি পদক জিতেছে। দীর্ঘ ৮ বছরের প্রতীক্ষার পর এটি ছিল স্পেশাল অলিম্পিকস উইন্টার গেমসের ১২তম সংস্করণ। এইবারই প্রথমবারের মতো ইতালিতে স্পেশাল অলিম্পিকস ওয়ার্ল্ড গেমস আয়োজন করা হয়েছিল।
