৫৩ বছর বয়সী ওই মহিলার জীবন বাঁচাতে ১০ কেজি ওজনের একটি ফুটবল আকারের কিডনির টিউমার সফলভাবে অপসারণ করা হয়েছে।
বেনজির ঘটনা! মহিলার পেট থেকে বেরোল প্রায় ১০ কেজি ওজনের টিউমার। শুনতে অবিশ্বাস্য লাগলেও বাস্তবে এমনটাই ঘটেছে।হায়দ্রাবাদের এশিয়ান ইনস্টিটিউট অফ নেফ্রোলজি অ্যান্ড ইউরোলজিতে (Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology) ডাঃ তাইফ বেন্ডিগেরি এবং ডাঃ রাজেশ কে রেড্ডির সমন্বয়ে ডাঃ মল্লিকার্জুন সি (Dr Mallikarjuna C, Dr Taif Bendigeri ,.Dr Rajesh K Reddy)এর নেতৃত্বে ইউরোলজিস্টদের একটি দল সফলভাবে এই অপারেশন করেন। ৫৩ বছর বয়সী ওই মহিলার জীবন বাঁচাতে ১০ কেজি ওজনের একটি ফুটবল আকারের কিডনির টিউমার সফলভাবে অপসারণ করা হয়েছে।
বৃহস্পতিবার হাসপাতাল সূত্রে জানা গেছে এই সফল অস্ত্রোপচারটি তেলেগু রাজ্যে প্রথম এবং দেশে দ্বিতীয়টি রেকর্ড করা হয়েছে।
