আজ ৫ সেপ্টেম্বর, ভারতের প্রাক্তণ রাষ্ট্রপতি ডঃ সর্বপল্লি রাধাকৃষ্ণণ-এর জন্মদিন। এই দিনটিতে গোটা দেশে বিশেষ মর্যাদার সঙ্গে ‘শিক্ষক দিবস’ হিসাবে পালিত হয়। সেই শিক্ষক দিবস উপলক্ষ্যে সকলকে শুভেচ্ছা জানালেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী। শুক্রবার সকালে নিজের এক্স হ্যান্ডেলে প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদী লিখেছেন, "সবাইকে, বিশেষ করে সমস্ত পরিশ্রমী শিক্ষকদের শিক্ষক দিবসের অনেক অনেক শুভেচ্ছা! শিক্ষকদের অঙ্গীকার ও করুণা উল্লেখযোগ্য। আমরা একজন বিশিষ্ট পণ্ডিত এবং শিক্ষক ডঃ এস. রাধাকৃষ্ণণের জন্মবার্ষিকীতে তাঁর জীবন এবং চিন্তাভাবনাকেও স্মরণ করি।"
