নেপালের বিমান দুর্ঘটনায় নিহতদের প্রত্যেকের পরিবারকে ৫ লক্ষ টাকা করে ক্ষতিপূরণ দেওয়ার কথা ঘোষণা করেছেন উত্তরপ্রদেশের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী যোগী আদিত্যনাথ (Yogi Adityanath)। যোগী জানিয়েছেন, নেপাল থেকে দেহ আনতে যে খরচ হবে, তা তাঁর সরকার বহন করবে। এদিকে, গত ১৫ জানুয়ারি নেপালের পোখরায় (Pokhara) দুর্ঘটনায় নিহত চার যুবকের পরিবারের সদস্যরা লাশ শনাক্তের জন্য মঙ্গলবার সন্ধ্যায় কাঠমান্ডূ পৌঁছান। গাজিপুরের জেলাশাসক আর্যকা আখাউরি (Aryaka Akhauri) জানিয়েছেন, মঙ্গলবার সন্ধ্যায় বিমান দুর্ঘটনায় নিহতদের পরিবারের সদস্যরা পৌঁছেছেন। তাঁদের মধ্যে রয়েছেন সোনু জয়সওয়াল (Sonu Jaiswal), অনিল রাজভর (Anil Rajbhar), বিশাল শর্মা (Vishal Sharma) ও অভিষেক কুশওয়াহা (Abhishek Kushwaha)। বিকেল পর্যন্ত পোখরা থেকে মরদেহ কাঠমান্ডূ না আসায় বুধবার ডিএনএ ম্যাচিংসহ মরদেহ শনাক্তকরণ প্রক্রিয়া সম্ভব হবে বলে কর্মকর্তারা আশা করছেন।
