বিশ্বের সবথেকে প্রাচীন ও বৃহত্তম সিডার গাছের (World's largest & Oldest Cedar tree) সন্ধান পাওয়া গেল জম্মু ও কাশ্মীরের (Jammu And Kashmir) ডোডা জেলার (Doda district) ভালেসায় (Bhalessa area) এলাকায়। জম্মু ও কাশ্মীর ভাদ্রেওয়া বন দফতরের (Bhaderwah Forest Division) পক্ষ থেকে গাছটির ছবি শেয়ার করে একে সবথেকে প্রাচীন ও বৃহত্তম সিডার গাছ বলে দাবি করে এই এলাকাকে হেরিটেজ (heritage) এলাকা বলে ঘোষণা করার প্রচার চালাচ্ছেন।
