আগামিকাল, সোমবার দু দিনের কেরল সফরে যাচ্ছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী। যে কেরলে বহু চেষ্টা করেও বিজেপি কোনও দাগ কাটাতে পারেনি।
আগামিকাল, সোমবার দু দিনের কেরল সফরে যাচ্ছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী। যে কেরলে বহু চেষ্টা করেও বিজেপি কোনও দাগ কাটাতে পারেনি। সেই কেরলেই এবার বড় সাফল্য পেল পদ্ম শিবির। মোদীর সফরের আগের দিন বিজেপিতে যোগ দিলেন পানথানামথিত্তা জেলার কেরল কংগ্রেস (জোসেফ) দলের সভাপতি ভিক্টর টি থমাস (VictorT Thomas)। কেরল কংগ্রেস (জোসেফ) দীর্ঘ দিন ধরেই রাজ্যের শাসক এলডিএফ জোটের শরিক।
এই জেলায় কেরল কংগ্রেস (জোসেফ)-এর সংগঠন বেশ শক্তিশালী। সম্প্রতি কেরলের প্রাক্তন কংগ্রেসী মুখ্যমন্ত্রী একে অ্যান্টনির ছেলে বিজেপিতে যোগ দিয়েছিলেন।
