ভূস্বর্গে ইতিহাস গড়ল ভারত। শ্রীনগরে (Srinagar) প্রথমবার চাকা গড়াল বন্দে ভারত এক্সপ্রেসের (Vande Bharat Express)। জম্মু কাশ্মীরে বিশ্বের সবচেয়ে উঁচু রেল ব্রিজ দিয়ে ছুটল বন্দে ভারত। শনিবার শ্রী মাতা বৈষ্ণব দেবী রেল স্টেশন কাটরা থেকে শ্রীনগর পর্যন্ত বন্দে ভারতের ট্রায়াল রান ছিল। প্রথম বলেতেই ছক্কা। রেল আধিকারিকেরা জানাচ্ছে, কাটরা থেকে শ্রীনগর রুটে বন্দে ভারতের ট্রায়াল রান একশো শতাংশ সফল। এই নয়া বন্দে ভারতটি দেশের প্রথম কেবল-সেতু আঞ্জি খাদ সেতুর উপর দিয়ে ছুটবে। এটি বিশ্বের সবচেয়ে উঁচু রেল সেতু। ট্রায়াল রান সফল হলে ওই রুটে বাণিজ্যিকভাবে কবে বন্দে ভারত চালানো হবে সেই বিষয়ে এখনও কিছু জানা যায়নি। তবে রেল সূত্রে খবর, একগুচ্ছ সুযোগ সুবিধা এবং কাশ্মীরের পরিবেশের কথা মাথায় রেখে তৈরি হয়েছে এই নয়া বন্দে ভারত।
